# Enabling Create Presentation

Sometimes, you'll have a multi-page document that should be represented in the Engage player or in CLM as multiple slides within a presentation, for example, a 20-page PowerPoint presentation. Vault has a special feature that creates multiple _Multichannel Slide_ documents and a _Multichannel Presentation_ binder from a single document.

Note: You can only use Create Presentation on documents with a PDF viewable rendition. Additionally, Create Presentation will not work for any PowerPoint files with hidden slides. Create Presentation does not support PowerPoint files containing images in Enhanced MetaFile (.emf) format.

You can enable this feature by adding the **Create Presentation** user action to lifecycle states. The action is only available on documents in that state.

## Rendering High Resolution Slides

By default, Vault generates presentation slides in 72 DPI. You can enable higher resolution slides by navigating to **Admin > Settings > Application Settings > Multichannel** and selecting the **Render Presentation Slides in High Resolution** checkbox. When enabled, Vault generates slides in 96 DPI.

Note: Vault does not automatically re-render existing presentations after you enable this setting. You must create a new presentation to render these slides in a high resolution.
