Users can see the Reviewer Queue page from the Home tab. This view shows reviewers their task queue in order of priority and prompts them to complete high priority tasks first. The Reviewer Queue automatically prioritizes tasks, including OneWorkflow tasks, legacy workflow tasks, and user tasks, to provide a more guided experience for reviewers.

For documents, the prioritization score is calculated based on the Date of First Use (dissemination_publication_date__v), Task Due Date, and Content Type. For objects, the prioritization score is calculated based on the Task Due Date and object name.

Reviewer Queue UI

Vault can display the Reviewer Queue page when you access the Home tab.

From the Reviewer Queue, reviewers see a list of assigned and available tasks. Expedited tasks are displayed at the top in the order the tasks were created. All other tasks are displayed next, and the three tasks with the highest priorities are highlighted first.

The Reviewer Queue includes a Tasks By Status pie chart that displays the number of tasks you have assigned or available by status. You can click a section of the pie chart to filter the list of tasks by status and click the section again or click outside the chart to remove the filter.

The Reviewer Queue also includes a Task By Due Date bar chart that displays the number of tasks per due date. You can click one or more bars to filter the list of tasks to the date selected. You can click the bar again or click outside the chart to remove the filter, or you can click Clear Selection to remove all filters.

Configuring the Reviewer Queue

To use the Reviewer Queue, we recommend that you add the following document type groups to document types, subtypes, or classifications for prioritization calculation:

  • Priority 1 Documents: Indicates that a document type has the highest priority.
  • Priority 2 Documents: Indicates that a document type has the second highest priority.
  • Priority 3 Documents: Indicates that a document type has the third highest priority.
  • Priority 4 Documents: Indicates that a document type has the fourth highest priority.

Additionally, you may add the Expedited field (expedited__v) to any document type. When the Expedited field is set to Yes, tasks for the document are displayed at the top of the Reviewer Queue.

Limitations

  • The Reviewer Queue loads 50 tasks at a time.
  • Tasks that have been active for more than 365 days are not prioritized.

You must have the View permission on target documents and objects to view tasks in the Reviewer Queue.
