Once you create your Email Template-type document, you can use the Litmus integration to generate a set of previews for your template. Litmus displays the Veeva HTML rendition of your email template on several devices, operating systems, and browsers in Vault. With this email preview, you can see how your email appears on various email clients. Note that preview emails must be configured by an Admin.
How to Generate a Preview Email
- Open an Email Template document.
- From the Actions menu, click Generate Preview Email. This process may take a few minutes.
- The Preview of {Email Template Name} {Version Number} page open and displays thumbnails of all available preview renditions.
- To open a specific preview rendition, click the thumbnail.
- Click Close to return to the main preview page.
- To return to the Doc Info page, click Back to previous page.
- To return to your Litmus previews, click View Email Preview* in the Actions menu.
*If you or another user in your Vault have recently generated an email preview and you have not versioned your email template, the Actions menu will display View Preview Email instead of Generate Preview Email.
Note that only one Litmus preview is generated per version.
Your Vault can generate up to 25 email previews per month.
